The Seaside Nook is a hidden little gem with 250' of private waterfront in the centre of Chéticamp..
The Seaside Nook is the closest you can stay to the water in the area. The space is comfortable with accents that showcase the area’s terrain and coastal history.
Walk down the stairs and greet the ocean at the end of the deck.
The patio doors face the water off the living room and open to the west facing deck over the water. Watch sunsets year-round as they drop over Chéticamp Island and the ocean to cascade beautiful colours across the sky.
Listing and watch the cows roam on the island as you relax on the deck or retreat to the living room just inside.
Cook in the well stocked kitchen or bbq on the deck overhanging the water then sit to eat at the modular table or out in the deck.
The Seaside Nook is a literal name. You'll have a private entrance, large deck and apartment style unit (though it doesn't feel like it on the ocean). It is nestled down the bank off the main road, thus, is a very quiet and secluded space in the middle of town.
I am always available and prompt to answer questions via AirBnB.
Someone is available to come by in the case of an emergency or for additional services.
Overhanging the Atlantic ocean, it is walking distance to whale cruises, family friendly activities, restaurants and Acadian culture. It is a quick drive to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, many beaches and other outdoor attractions.
The Seaside Nook is the lower unit of our two-unit building. Each unit features its own private entrance, wraparound deck, BBQ, and amenities. The only shared spaces are the fire pit on the lower property and the spacious parking area.

Myself, wife along with two young kids came up from Halifaxand stayed at Jon's Nook in Cheticamp for 4 nightsand loved it. We could see and hear the cows on the island and watch the birds all from the deck. The BBQ was just the right size for a family of 4 and the place had everything we needed. The firepit on the property was a nice bonus as well. We'd definitely be back.
First class location, a short walk from the Co-op supermarket, perfect views of the bay, ten minutes from the start of the Cabot trail. Terrific service from Jon and his offsider, Ray. Every request we made was attended to immediately. Very compact, set up for four but most comfortable for two. Bathroom and Kitchen very well appointed, bed very comfy, even if we did need to climb the length of the big bed to get in 'cos it was almost too big for the space. Parking space could do with more and better surfacing, but that's just a quibble. The weather turned very cold while we there, but we didn't notice it while inside. In short, a very cosy Seaside Nook.
