Following Google Maps will bring you down a long dirt road that is not always is great shape. The "long way around" is only 1 minute longer and far more comfortable.

From Halifax Stanfield International Airport

(Approx. 2.5 to 3 hours / 245 km):

1. Take Highway 102 North from the airport.

2. Merge onto Highway 104 East (Trans-Canada Highway) toward Cape Breton.

3. Continue on Highway 104 for about 2 hours, passing through New Glasgow and Antigonish.

4. Cross the Canso Causeway onto Cape Breton Island.

5. Follow signs for Highway 105 East (toward Baddeck / Whycocomagh).

6. After about 26 minutes on Hwy 105, turn Right onto Orangedale Road.

7. Follow Orangedale Rd for 6.4 km ~ 6 minutes until you reach Marble Mountain Rd, then turn Right onto Eden rd.

8. Drive along Eden Road for 2 minutes. Look for 1312 Eden rd on the left, about 1-2 minutes down Eden rd.

From the Entrance of Cape Breton Island / The Canso Causeway (Approx. 40 min | 55 km):

1. Cross the Canso Causeway onto Cape Breton Island.
2. Follow signs for Highway 105 East (toward Baddeck / Whycocomagh).
3. After about 26 minutes on Hwy 105, turn Right onto Orangedale Road.
4. Follow Orangedale Rd for 6.4 km ~ 6 minutes until you reach Marble Mountain Rd, then turn Right onto Eden rd.
5. Drive along Eden Road for 2 minutes. Look for 1312 Eden rd on the left, about 1-2 minutes down Eden rd.

✈️ From Sydney Airport / J.A. Douglas McCurdy Airport 

(Approx. 1h 45m | 148 km):

*Google will take you the scenic route* The following instructions are slightly longer but better for gas, gift shops, etc.

1. From the airport, turn left onto take Grand Lake rd/NS toward Sydney / New Waterford for 7.7 km.

2. Turn Left  onto Peacekeepers Way 125 for 28km.

3. Turn Right  onto Highway 105 West toward Baddeck and merge onto Hwy/NS-105 W for 96 km ~about 65 minutes. 

4. You will pass through Bras D'Or, over the Seal Harbour, bypass Baddeck, pass the Red Barn and Whycocomagh before turning  Left onto Orangedale Rd.

5. Follow Orangedale Rd for 6.4 km ~ 6 minutes until you reach Marble Mountain Rd, then turn Right onto Eden rd.

6. Drive along Eden Road for 2 minutes. Look for 1312 Eden rd on the left, about 1-2 minutes down Eden rd.
